Dr. Keith Smith is an anesthesiologist by trade but after a few years of providing care in a hospital setting, he and his friend Dr. Steve Lantier decided to buy an independent surgery center...now known as Surgery Center of Oklahoma which has revolutionized how cash paying Americans and patients abroad pay for surgical care. Dr. Smith also co-founded the Free Market Medical Association which aims to bring the willing buyer and the willing seller together in a transparent, mutually beneficial transaction. The FMMA has chapters across the country and is hosting their annual conference in Dallas, TX this August to a sold out crowd hearing from great speakers, not the least of which is keynote speaker, Steve Forbes.
